Anor Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

South Florida men's soccer standout Bernardo Anor was named to the weekly
BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for the week ending Sept. 20.
Anor recorded three points last week while helping USF to a 1-0-1 week in
its first two BIG EAST Conference games. A native of Caracas, Venezuela,
Anor scored his second goal of the season in the conference opener against
Marquette in a 1-1 double overtime tie on Sept. 18.
Two days later, on Sept. 20, the sophomore midfielder would assist on the
game winning goal scored by Jorge Mora in USF's 2-1 win over No. 21 Notre
Dame. During the week, Anor would get off four shots with all coming on net.
On the year, Anor leads the team in scoring with five points (2-1) and is
third in both shots (11) and shots on goal (8). He is also tied for first
the team - with Mora - in scoring in USF's two BIG EAST games recording
three points (1-1).
USF will now hit the road for three of its next four games beginning on
Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. when it travels to West Virginia to face the
Mountaineers. The Bulls will then take on Pittsburgh in the "Steel City" on
Sept. 27. USF will return home on Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. when it butts heads
with Cincinnati.
Season tickets for USF men's soccer games are $40 for adults and $20 for
youths and senior citizens. Adult individual match tickets are $6, while
youth and senior citizen admission is $3. All groups of 10 or more can
purchase tickets for $2.50 per ticket. All USF students will be admitted at
no cost when they display their student ID.
