Bulls Ranked No. 3 In NSCAA Top 25 Poll

- After recording a 1-0-1 record last week in the first two games
of the BIG EAST Conference schedule - with the one win coming over No. 21
Notre Dame at home on Sunday, 2-1 - the University of South Florida men's
soccer team continues its climb in the weekly national rankings.
In the five recognized NCAA men's Division I soccer polls, the Bulls find
themselves ranked in the top six in the three announced on Monday.
USF has moved into the No. 4 spot, from No. 5 last week, in the
TopDrawerSoccer.com poll, while also moving to No. 5 in the Soccer America
rankings after being slotted No. 9 last week.
The Bulls moved up five spots to No. 6 from No. 11 in the College Soccer
News Top 25.
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Soccer Times polls
will be announced later this week.
Before its win over the Fighting Irish on Sunday, The Bulls (5-0-1, 1-0-1
BIG EAST) kicked off its conference slate with a 1-1 double overtime tie
against Marquette on Sept. 18 at the USF Soccer Stadium.
USF will now hit the road for three of its next four games beginning on
Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. when it travels to West Virginia to face the
Mountaineers. The Bulls will then take on Pittsburgh in the "Steel City" on
Sept. 27. USF will return home on Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m. when it butts heads
with Cincinnati.
Season tickets for USF men's soccer games are $40 for adults and $20 for
youths and senior citizens. Adult individual match tickets are $6, while
youth and senior citizen admission is $3. All groups of 10 or more can
purchase tickets for $2.50 per ticket. All USF students will be admitted at
no cost when they display their student ID.
