 First Coast high school boys soccer
Five teams to watch
Bolles:
The Bulldogs return a strong core from last season’s Class 3A state title
team, including seniors Sebastian Mikulic, Robbie Eshelman and Jacob Stenson,
and will benefit from the addition of junior Carlos Dominguez. Juniors Chris
Hazelip and Juan Pablo Villareal will compete to replace standout keeper
John Rush.
Fleming Island: Junior midfielder Noah Andone (12 goals, 15 assists), senior
defender Jacob Sprinkles and junior keeper Zack Slankard return to lead the
Class 5A regional finalist Golden Eagles, who look strong for another deep
playoff run with the addition of Bolles transfer Seth Dedmon and St. Johns
Country Day transfer Tanner Hall.
Fletcher:
The Senators, who return 16 varsity players, including seniors Nick November
and Brendan Tracy and College of Charleston commitment Tony Kattreh, will be
eager to bounce back from a season in which they missed the playoffs.
Fletcher should also benefit from the addition of Stanton transfer Dylan
Lynch in goal.
