 Martin County spoils Central coach's return

Stewart’s return as Fort Pierce Central’s boys soccer coach began with a
loss to an old rival Thursday.
Martin County scored three goals in the final 25 minutes to beat the
Cobras 3-0 in Fort Pierce.
Stewart and Martin County coach Juan Kalb first coached against each
other in 1984, when Stewart began an 11-year run at South Fork. He coached
Fort Pierce Central for the first time from 1995-98.
“I had to play somebody, why not Juan? He’s a good measuring stick, he
always has a team that competitive. It’s a good test for us to start our
season,” Stewart said. “I’ve always looked up to what he does with his
kids.”
