A-Sun Release

DeLand, Fla. - The Atlantic Sun Conference office announced that Stetson goalkeeper Logan Potter has been named the league's Defensive Player of the Week. This is the second consecutive week Stetson has earned the award. Last week Robert Hodge (Devon, England) won on the defensive side and Griffin Gilstrap (Safety Harbor, Fla.) on the offensive end.

Potter earned the honor after picking up shutouts in Stetson's 4-0 win over Saint Joseph's Friday and 1-0 victory over Hofstra on Sunday. Potter and his defensive mates have now shutout their opponents in the last three games, and four out of five games overall. The Hatters are currently 5-0 on the season after winning the inaugural Stetson Soccer Classic over the weekend. Potter was voted to the all-tournament team.

In five games this season Potter is 5-0-0 with 18 saves and a 0.40 goals against average.
